Dr. Spencer is incredibly professional, caring, and passionate for the work she does. During treatment, she was beyond reassuring that she was doing what was in my best interest, explained in detail the procedure and aftercare to my family, and ensured I had a plan moving forward. I am so grateful to have found her and the MIPS team.

Dr. Spencer put in 2 iliac stents and dilated my daughter’s inferior vein cava at age 25. Both required repair due to damage done by May-Thurner. My daughter is now 27 and just summited Mt. Whitney this morning. Mt. Whitney is the tallest peak in the contiguous United States. She was referred to Dr. Spencer by our local IR who called her “the queen of IR”. Thank you so much, Dr. Spencer

I had my May-Thurners iliac vein compression surgery and I cannot say enough about the expertise and thorough patient care of MIPS and Dr. Brooke Spencer and her team. The procedure went without incident, the stent was placed with complete explanation beforehand, and I felt very taken care of by both Dr. Spencer and Christie's incredible care. I highly recommend MIPS and feel very fortunate that I was finally directed to Dr. Spencer after 20 years of unresolved leg circulation issues, swelling and clots. Dr. Spencer is a leader in vein, pelvic and embolism issues in women. Thank you MIPS!

The uterine stent removal isn't as painful as expected. I had no pain just fullness and a pressure feeling. Don't think yourself into pain. Take 2 tylenol 500mg each if allowed beforehand. Not as bad as expected!

Dr.Spencer was AMAZING! I saw her for a stent placement for May Thurner syndrome which was causing numerous problems in my life. She made me feel so comfortable before and after the surgery and she made my actually feel like myself again which I haven’t in 7 months! She is so educated which helped me feel confident with the procedure. After the procedure she sat and talked to me for a good hour. She took the time to answer my many questions and explained to me in thorough detail about the procedure and post-procedure life. MOST IMPORTANTLY: she took the time to get to know me on a personal level and I got to know her as well. I have had 5 surgeries now and I have never had a doctor be this personal and care so much about me, and to me that makes Dr. Spencer very special. I could go on and on about how much I liked this woman. It meant the world to me that she put so much effort into making me feel valued and not just 1 of 1000patients that doctors usually care less about. SHES AMAZING

No matter where you live in the country, if you want an excellent resolution to your health issues by the best professionals, this is the place to go. Dr. Brooke Spencer is a pioneer and world-class vascular and interventional radiologist for minimally invasive procedures. She has an uncanny ability to read complex imaging, and ask the right questions in a personal interview, to understand and know what her patient needs. Nurse Practitioner Arwyn Taffs is “off the chart” in her care, compassion, and customer service for patients. It is a miracle I found this team of professionals to resolve my genetic life-long vascular problems that very few doctors were able to properly diagnose and treat. I now receive annual ultrasounds in Kansas City because Dr. Spencer has a network of colleagues who know and respect her work, some of whom she has personally trained. Consider this facility to be like visiting the Mayo Clinic.

MIPS staff has always been super friendly and helpful in assisting me with all of my questions. I cannot speak more highly of the care MIPS gives and how educated and caring their physicians are. I have been telling my entire family about this practice.

Dr. Warner quite literally gave me my life back. He placed a stent for a May Thurner Syndrome compression, and prior to the stent, I had been experiencing chronic pain I was beginning to think I would have to live with the rest of my life. Since the procedure, almost all of the pain is gone, and I feel like myself again. During consultations, he was very thorough and didn’t make me feel like a number. He was patient with the questions and concerns I had about things. I highly recommend him and everyone at Minimally Invasive Procedure Specialists.
