This is the place to go if you are suffering from post-thrombotic syndrome and no one else will do anything about it. She has a wealth of experience that you won't get anywhere else. Her staff was also remarkably flexible about scheduling my procedure quickly given I was coming in from out of state.

Dr. Spencer put in 2 iliac stents and dilated my daughter’s inferior vein cava at age 25. Both required repair due to damage done by May-Thurner. My daughter is now 27 and just summited Mt. Whitney this morning. Mt. Whitney is the tallest peak in the contiguous United States. She was referred to Dr. Spencer by our local IR who called her “the queen of IR”. I had my May-Thurners iliac vein compression surgery and I cannot say enough about the expertise and thorough patient care of MIPS and Dr. Brooke Spencer and her team. The procedure went without incident, the stent was placed with complete explanation beforehand, and I felt very taken care of by both Dr. Spencer and Christie's incredible care. I highly recommend MIPS and feel very fortunate that I was finally directed to Dr. Spencer after 20 years of unresolved leg circulation issues, swelling and clots. Dr. Spencer is a leader in vein, pelvic and embolism issues in women. Thank you MIPS!

The uterine stent removal isn't as painful as expected. I had no pain just fullness and a pressure feeling. Don't think yourself into pain. Take 2 tylenol 500mg each if allowed beforehand. Not as bad as expected!

Dr.Spencer was AMAZING! I saw her for a stent placement for May Thurner syndrome which was causing numerous problems in my life. She made me feel so comfortable before and after the surgery and she made my actually feel like myself again which I haven’t in 7 months! She is so educated which helped me feel confident with the procedure. After the procedure she sat and talked to me for a good hour. She took the time to answer my many questions and explained to me in thorough detail about the procedure and post-procedure life. MOST IMPORTANTLY: she took the time to get to know me on a personal level and I got to know her as well. I have had 5 surgeries now and I have never had a doctor be this personal and care so much about me, and to me that makes Dr. Spencer very special. I could go on and on about how much I liked this woman. It meant the world to me that she put so much effort into making me feel valued and not just 1 of 1000patients that doctors usually care less about. SHES AMAZING
