Sara
Practice Manager
Sara graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Chemistry. During her time at NAU, she completed the pre-med program and participated in research studies related to youth interventional education as well as performance enhancement in college athletes through a nutritional program that also reduced cardiovascular risks. Sara is passionate about helping others and started her medical career by volunteering in hospitals. After obtaining her degree, she worked as a physical therapy technician and personal trainer until she moved to Colorado in 2018. Sara joined MIPS in 2019 and has continued to lead our patient care coordinators and scheduling teams as they strive to support our patients in their journey to health. When Sara is not working, she enjoys being outdoors, crafting, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and their dog, Bruce.

Monica
Certified Nursing Assistant
Monica is a native of Colorado who has been in the healthcare field for the last six years. This has been her childhood dream and we are thankful that she has brought her skill, knowledge and compassion to the practice here at MIPS. Her passion is knowing that each day she is helping patients reach their full potential for a happy and enjoyable life.
Monica is currently advancing her studies in nursing and working on her bachelors. In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching Netflix, quality time with her supportive family, and shopping.
Dani
Certified Nursing Assistant
Dani is a graduate from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Biology. She found her love for medicine and science through her college experience. During her time at USD, she competed as a student athlete on the swim team. She also served on the executive team of the environmental club, sharing her passion for sustainability. She plans to continue her education and earn her Masters in Physician Assistant studies.
As a Colorado Native, Dani enjoys spending time hiking and skiing with friends and family outside of work.
Daniella
Medical Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator
Daniella was born and raised most of her childhood in Colorado. She then relocated to rural Minnesota in her teen years. She spent 18 years in Minnesota, during her time there she obtained her CNA license and obtained her associate degree with her focus on Medical Assisting. Daniella has continued her education with a focus on nursing. All in all, Daniella has been in healthcare for 23 years!
Daniella has 3 boys, one who is serving in the United States Marine Corps. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her boys, getting away to the mountains, and when she’s lucky, she gets to head out of state to spend time her Marine.
Lauren
Ultrasound Sonographer
Lauren started her first job in the health field as a nurse for animals which is where she was introduced to ultrasound. She has since graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and from Red Rocks Community College with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Though she is tripple registered in General ultrasound, OBGYN ultrasound and Vascular ultrasound, vascular ultrasound is what drew her to MIPS. Her love for challenging vascular cases and following patients throughout their medical journey is her passion. “Seeing patients go from severe pain and discomfort to finally having relief is why I do this”.
Lauren moved to Colorado in 2001 from the mid-west and has fallen in love with Colorado as many do. She enjoys spending time with her chickens, children and husband but not in that exact order.

Monica
Prior Authorization Specialist
Monica came to our office in 2018 with over 15 years of healthcare background: 4 years as a lead account specialist with the AR Follow-up Denial Team at Centura Health Corporate office, and 5 years working directly with the Vice President of Ambulatory Services at the UC Health Anschutz Medical Hospital. By working with the Denial Management team, she helped develop implement, and execute a new successful workflow for obtaining authorizations approvals of all “High-Cost Drugs” in cancer, neurosciences, orthopedic, spine, transplant, and primary care charges. By decreasing denial claims by 8%, it saved the hospital over $3.9 million of total billable charges. With this significant achievement and recognition, she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Award of Excellence.
With her knowledge and experience, she is able to review and obtain authorization for each procedure provided for our patients. She knows how important it is for each patient to receive the best care without having to worry about any insurance issues.
Being a true Colorado native, she enjoys her time of exploring and re-exploring every part of Colorado with her husband and daughter. Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Colorado University in Boulder.
Lisa
Pre-Consultation Specialist
Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s in biomedical science. Her passion for constant learning and education led her to earn a master’s in biomedical science with a concentration in forensic genetics from UNT Health Science Center. Her professional career ranges from involvement in Workers Compensation, assisting orthopedic surgeons in peer reviews, and medical/surgical assistant in dermatology and Mohs surgery. Lisa believes patient education and developing personal relationships are pivotal to providing superior healthcare; every person has a story to tell, and she feels she can learn something from every individual she meets. With this, she strives to bring a personal touch and connection to her interactions with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
Lisa believes in the therapeutic aspects of listening to, and harbors a deep love for creating music. During her time at A&M, she was a member in the A&M Women’s Chorus and also participated in piano competitions during high school. Thanks to Denver’s music scene, she has attended upward of 30 concerts since moving to Colorado in 2015, and is continuously adding to the list. She also enjoys time hiking and exploring everything Colorado has to offer in term of its natural beauty. Lisa enjoys cooking and experimenting in the kitchen; she will try any food once and, as of yet, she has not found a food she does not like.
