When Katie’s not at work she likes to spend time with her friends, family, her boyfriend, and her dog, Piper. Katie has two brothers who she looks up to. She says that her mom, Joan, and her dad, Jake, are two the best people she has ever met and have the biggest hearts. She says, “I may be bias, but I have the most amazing dad in the world. He is the smartest man I have ever met and my best friend. Everything I do is to make him proud. In November of 2017, we lost our dad to a terrible accident and our goal as a family is to change laws to protect and honor bicyclists like him”.
