Lori
President
Lori is a dynamic and passionate Healthcare Business Transformation & Operations Leader with over 30 years of experience spanning across Primary and Sub-Specialty Care in outpatient and ambulatory settings. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Psychology with a focus on Organizational & Corporate Development and Design, Lori brings a unique blend of strategic acumen and operational expertise to her leadership roles.
In her capacity as a Senior Leader and Trusted Advisor, Lori has collaborated with over 300 operational leaders nationwide, earning a proven track record in enhancing patient, clinician, and teammate experiences. Through her leadership, Lori and her teams have realized benefits exceeding $90M by driving improvements across Care Delivery, Revenue Cycle, Drug Management, and Referral Development domains.
Lori’s approach to healthcare revolves around creating environments that delight patients through proactive and authentic care delivery. She employs a systematic approach to eliminate waste, optimize value-added work, and empower teams to focus on delivering exceptional care. Moreover, Lori is deeply passionate about nurturing team growth, fostering both individual and collective development.
A Colorado native, Lori finds solace and joy in the outdoors, often skiing or hiking with her husband, Todd. Beyond her professional endeavors, Lori treasures spending quality time with friends and family, recognizing the importance of these moments in life’s journey.

Carlin
Nurse
Carlin completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz. While in nursing school, she worked as a CNA in various specialties before finding her passion for women’s health on the postpartum unit. After graduation, she worked in Labor and Delivery for 3 wonderful years before deciding to broaden her knowledge and skills as a nurse and join the team at MIPS. Carlin prides herself on building relationships with her patients and helping them feel safe, heard, and cared for. When she’s not at work, you can find Carlin basking in the chaos of raising three kids and taking care of her pets which include three cats, a dog, and a snake. In her occasional free time she enjoys doing yoga, camping, hiking, traveling, reading (lots and lots of reading) and spending time with friends and family.
Danielle
Credentialing Operations Manager
Danielle is a Colorado native and proud mom to two amazing individuals. She has a love for travel and the outdoors, from hiking, rafting, and kayaking to snorkeling and snowmobiling in the winter. She brings over 25 years of experience in the medical field, including 8 years specializing in credentialing. She’s passionate about helping others and thrive on creating smooth, efficient processes. She enjoys working with diverse teams to achieve shared goals and take pride in supporting Minimally Invasive Procedure Specialists so they can operate at their very best.
Erin H.
Medical Records Lead
Since joining MIPS, Erin has continued to grow her dedication to patient care and inspires those around her to do the same. Whether she is answering phones and scheduling appointments or ensuring records are requested and reviewed in a timely manner, Erin dedicates the highest level of attention to every patient.
In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her son and pup Otis. When not with them, you can probably find her doing her nails or something creative. Her dream is to one day attend international nail art trade shows in China, Japan, and Korea.
Greg
Nurse
After six years in the army including time as a medic, Greg earned his nursing degree from Montana State University. His career spans over 39 years during which he has worked in several emergency departments including a level 2 trauma Center. For the past 12 years he’s been part of the interventional radiology department at a local hospital where he met Doctor Spencer and other members of the MIPS team. Outside of work Greg enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, traveling, and camping with his family.
Heaven
Pre-Consult Specialist
Heaven has worked in all areas of health care, starting in 2009 as a secretary in a nursing home, pursuing her medical assistant certification in 2011. After her 3 children were born, she started working in a memory care facility as a CNA. She has worked in hospitals on cardiac floors and step-down ICUs before starting with MIPS in January 2025. She has two more classes of nursing pre requisites before she can apply to nursing school. All 3 of her kids are in some sort of sport at all times, so her life is very busy and fast paced.
Lane
OBL Manager
Lane graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, concentrating in Pre-Health Professional Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also holds an associate’s degree in nutrition. With over 12 years of experience in the healthcare field, Lane has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including emergency departments, psychology, intensive care, medical-surgical units, and orthopedics. Her roles have included Certified Nurse Technologist, Orthopedic Cast Technologist, and Injection Technologist.
Lane joined the MIPS team three years ago and has since played a key role in driving success at our outpatient center. Her time with MIPS has been marked by continuous learning and professional growth, as she expands her skill set and contributes to team development.
Outside of work, Lane enjoys spending time at home with her partner and their corgi, Muffin. She loves reading and relaxing with her family. During the warmer months, she can often be found hiking and camping with her family”
Lauren
Ultrasound Sonographer
Lauren started her first job in the health field as a nurse for animals which is where she was introduced to ultrasound. She has since graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and from Red Rocks Community College with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Though she is triple registered in General ultrasound, OBGYN ultrasound and Vascular ultrasound, vascular ultrasound is what drew her to MIPS. Her love for challenging vascular cases and following patients throughout their medical journey is her passion. “Seeing patients go from severe pain and discomfort to finally having relief is why I do this”.
Lauren moved to Colorado in 2001 from the mid-west and has fallen in love with Colorado as many do. She enjoys spending time with her chickens, children and husband but not in that exact order.
Leah
PACS Lead
Leah has worked in health care for the last 16 years and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor’s in healthcare management. She spent the first 15 years of her healthcare career in Orthopedics and just recently ventured out into the vascular world at MIPS. She has worked in many roles from patient care navigating, medical assisting, working closely with doctors to fulfill patient needs, and helping to run a small clinic with Panorama Orthopedics. Leah has a passion for helping people and a strong drive for doing what she can to make patients feel respected and heard. She throws her heart into everything she does and approaches each patient’s situation with empathy and compassion to create a safe place for patients to express themselves and their concerns. “Doing anything I can to make a patient’s healthcare journey easier is always my biggest focus.”
As a Colorado native, Leah loves spending time outdoors and taking pictures. She has a love for all critters, but especially those that are misunderstood. Reptiles and arachnids hold a special place in her heart, and she loves educating people about these unique, often feared creatures. Family and friends are a significant focus in her life, and she greatly enjoys any opportunity to spend time with them.
MacKenzy
Nurse
MacKenzy joined the MIPS team in 2025. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Colorado Christian University in 2021. She also received a Bachelors of Social Sciences degree in 2015. After working four years on a Step Down ICU unit, she was ready to pursue an avenue within nursing that offered new skill sets and a dedicated mission. Providing compassionate, quality care is MacKenzy’s top priority, all while wearing a smile on her face. At the end of each day, MacKenzy is proud to be a part of the positive, lifelong impact MIPS is having on patients.
In her free time, MacKenzy enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and French Bulldog. Originally from Kansas City, you will always catch her cheering on the Chiefs while eating some good BBQ. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and soaking up the sun, whether that’s in the mountains or traveling to the beach.
Monica
Pre-Consult Specialist
Monica is a native of Colorado who has been in the healthcare field for the last six years. This has been her childhood dream and we are thankful that she has brought her skill, knowledge and compassion to the practice here at MIPS. Her passion is knowing that each day she is helping patients reach their full potential for a happy and enjoyable life.
Monica is currently advancing her studies in nursing and working on her bachelors. In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching Netflix, quality time with her supportive family, and shopping.
Sydney
Nurse
Sydney received her bachelors degree in nursing from University of Colorado. She has extensive background in cardiac and emergency nursing while working in the hospital over the last 8 years. She describes herself as a passionate nurse who is a strong patient advocate and strives to provide confident and compassionate care to all her patients. She joined the MIPS family in 2024 with eagerness to jump into a new specialty of healthcare.
In the summer you can find her on a patio reading or enjoying happy hour and appetizers, and in the fall going for walks through the changing leaves. All the other times, she loves to spend time with her family and takes advantage of every football Sunday.

Anna
Prior Authorization Specialist
Anna joined the MIPS office in early 2024. She has worked 12 years previously in the radiology specialty before transitioning to the vascular world. She has her Associates in Science in Medical Billing and Coding and is working towards her Bachelors in Science in Health Information Management. She enjoys deciphering through the ever-changing insurance world. She is dedicated to assisting our patients with their insurance and financial responsibilities.
She is previously from Florida and moved to Colorado in early 2021. She served in the United States Coast Guard and traveled around the world as part of OIF/OEF. During her free time, she enjoys getting outside with her two kids and exploring what Colorado has to offer. She is also a huge Disney fan!
Kenna
Patient Care Coordinator
Kenna grew up as a patient in the healthcare environment. This taught her the value of patient interaction and that everyone’s experience matters. She has worked in healthcare since she was 18. Kenna started out as a caregiver in nursing homes and worked her way up to Executive Assistant of an assisted living community. Throughout her years in healthcare, she has gained experience in patient communications, scheduling, and team management. Her journey brought her to MIPS where she enjoys speaking with patients and being a confidant to people seeking help with their medical needs.
Her motivation comes through being a mom to her son and the support she receives through her friends and family. Kenna’s character operates around kindness, communication, and empathy. She enjoys reading, singing, and scary movies.
Mayra
Patient Care Coordinator
After working in the medical industry for over 18 years, Marya prides herself in providing the best patient care and extending her beliefs of “treat others as you wish to be treated.” Her sympathy and empathy allow her to get on a personal level with patients; allowing her to support patients in receiving the care they need from the moment she speaks with them over the phone up until they complete their treatments.
Prayer and family are her greatest strength and motivation. Mayra is California-born, moved to Florida as a teen, and has lived in Colorado for the past 9 years – there is nowhere else she rather be than the beautiful state of Colorado! As a mom of two, her family means the world to her and it brings her such joy to witness the growth and bond of her children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family, playing board games, and catching up on TV shows.
Misty
Patient Care Coordinator
Misty came to MIPS from the Midwest. She has worked in several different facets of the medical field including multi specialty clinics, urgent care, and emergency rooms as a lead and supervisor. She is passionate about helping people and loves to ensure patients have a great experience. Outside of work her hobbies include hiking, fishing, reading and playing with her Golden Retriever, Nash.
Monica
Prior Authorization Specialist
Monica came to our office in 2018 with over 15 years of healthcare background: 4 years as a lead account specialist with the AR Follow-up Denial Team at Centura Health Corporate office, and 5 years working directly with the Vice President of Ambulatory Services at the UC Health Anschutz Medical Hospital. By working with the Denial Management team, she helped develop implement, and execute a new successful workflow for obtaining authorizations approvals of all “High-Cost Drugs” in cancer, neurosciences, orthopedic, spine, transplant, and primary care charges. By decreasing denial claims by 8%, it saved the hospital over $3.9 million of total billable charges. With this significant achievement and recognition, she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Award of Excellence.
With her knowledge and experience, she is able to review and obtain authorization for each procedure provided for our patients. She knows how important it is for each patient to receive the best care without having to worry about any insurance issues.
Being a true Colorado native, she enjoys her time of exploring and re-exploring every part of Colorado with her husband and daughter. Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Colorado University in Boulder.
Rakiyah
Patient Care Coordinator
With over nine years of experience in healthcare, including more than 5 years in scheduling and management, Rakiyah brings a deep commitment to patient care and operational excellence in her role as Patient Care Coordinator at MIPS. She is dedicated to making sure patients’ needs are met with efficiency and compassion, and that every interaction is handled with attention and care. Her health care journey began in assisted livings, where she rapidly progressed from Assistant Manager to Administrator Designee of her own community. This growth reflects her drive, adaptability, and passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people around her. Rakiyah thrives on helping others and being a part of special moments. She enjoys exploring the beauty of colorful Colorado, whether it’s fishing, hiking, camping or just being outdoors. She also loves football, reading, puzzles, and spending quality time with her family.

Raquel
Research Director
Raquel has over 15 years of experience in medical research studying neuroscience, orthopedics, and now interventional radiology. She is passionate about using the scientific process to find answers for patients and to discover new and innovative treatments. Her leadership style is inclusive and collaborative and she is proud to support her amazing teammates. She is efficient and deadline-oriented, keeping her physicians on track (a big task at times!) with grace. Because of her background in computer science and math she has been able to find or create software solutions to optimize processes and reduce errors.
She is a dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, and cat mom. In her free time she enjoys hiking among the Colorado wildflowers, traveling (and making travel itineraries), cross stitching, and reading with her book club.
Shawn
Clinical Research Coordinator
Shawn earned dual degrees in Neuroscience and Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with minors in Business and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. His academic foundation, combined with hands-on experience in both an emergency department and an immunology research clinic, fueled his commitment to pursuing a research career aimed at tackling unanswered questions in medicine.
Since joining MIPS in early 2025, Shawn has contributed to several research projects that focus on pelvic venous disorders and their connections to broader disease processes. He is passionate not only about advancing scientific knowledge but also about making scientific knowledge more accessible by translating complex concepts into educational materials that bridge the gap between the scientific community and patients.
Outside of work, Shawn is an avid adventurer who enjoys attending sporting events, hiking Colorado’s trails, snowboarding in the Rockies, and taking weekend road trips. Most of all, he values time spent with family and friends.
