Biography

Mari has been a critical care nurse for over 19 years, 12 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has had the privilege of serving various populations within both New Mexico and Colorado areas utilizing her Advance Nurse Practitioner degree and training. As far back as she could remember, she had a passion for providing healing and comfort to those around her. Her career has spanned from her home state’s only Reginal Level 1 Trauma Center, flight and critical care transport nursing, critical care intensivists, specializing in trauma, neurological and medical care, home health care and most recently providing care to the most critically ill individuals within the Denver. She has also developed several Advance Practice Models for critical care Nurse Practitioners practicing ICU settings.

Mari grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico and received both her Bachelors and Masters from the University of New Mexico. She transplanted to Colorado in 2014, where she continued her practice in Critical Care. Recently, she has shifted her focus to join MIPS and bring her many years of critical care and procedural experience to the practice of Interventional Radiology. She is excited to join the MIPS team allowing her to anticipate and provide for patients’ vascular and interventional needs by utilizing her critical and analytical reasoning. A true entity for the practice.
